Two Year Old Mom's Morning Out/ Preschool Program

Our two year olds will enjoy a fun filled year packed full of activities.  It is the goal of the two year old program to make sure that each child is exposed to a variety of learning experiences that will help them mature socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.  In our two year old program, children will explore God's world through a variety of experiences.  Teachers use Bible stories, and children's books as tools to teach about the world around them. 

Phonics, writing, pre-reading, language and math skills will be taught daily through different units of study.  Each week students will be introduced to a different letter of the alphabet using the ABEKA curriculum.  Students will experience writing using different tools such as paint, crayons, markers, colored pencils, shaving cream, etc.  Math and counting skills as well as shapes and colors will also be taught using maniupulatives and hands-on experiences. 

Music is also a very important part of our two year old curriculum.  Students enjoy music and singing everyday in the classroom.  They also attend a special music and movement class each week with the ELC Music teacher. 

Our playground and gym are also a very big part of our two year old program.  Students enjoy play time and snack time each day.
